Classes & Schedule

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned yogi, you will find a class that you love at Heron Creek. Our teachers are among the best in Hamilton. They love teaching and truly care about their students. 

We offer more than 30 yoga classes per week, from Beginner to Advanced Yoga. Our yoga teachers teach a variety of styles from different schools of yoga including Anusara, Iyengar, Astanga and Yin - there is something for everyone.

We offer workshops and sessions such as Yoga for Low Back Pain, Make a Mala Workshop, New Year Intention class, Yoga Nidra, Kids' yoga and Family Yoga. We also offer Pilates, Booty Barre, and Essentrics.

All of our instructors are experienced in teaching to different abilities and providing modifications for individuals.

New to Yoga?

FANTASTIC! We are known for being great with beginners! Our studio is attitude and judgement free. Our expert teachers always provide modifications and props to make classes accessible. 

We welcome all ability and experience levels, and are happy to help you decide which classes are a good fit for you. 

Introduce yourself to the instructor before class, especially if you have any health issues, range of motion issues or prior injuries. Then, find a spot, unroll your mat, and enjoy! 

What to Wear

  • Comfortable, athletic clothing

  • Bring a sweater & socks or wear layers, your body will cool down at the end of class 

  • For Yoga, bare feet are strongly recommended

  • No shoes are allowed in Studio 1

What to Bring

 

If you have one, bring a Yoga mat​. Yoga mats come in various sizes, materials and thicknesses. We recommend renting a mat from us ($2 per class) to help you decide which mat is best for you.​ Then you can make a more informed decision when you do decide to buy your own.

Other things to bring:

Small hand towel

Water bottle (optional)

Your favourite props

An open mind

Make room for other attendees when attendance is high.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for class. Come earlier if you need to fill out a waiver or make a purchase.

Please turn your cellphone off or set it to Do Not Disturb. Vibrate is too noisy for Yoga classes.

Neatly re-fold blankets and return props to their shelves after class.
